Train from Edinburgh to London: £70-120 ($88-150)
Plane from Edinburgh to London: £15 ($18). With typical stuff it's $50. To fly through the air and land at my destination in an hour and a half is 1/4-1/3 the price of trundling along the ground and arriving 5-6 hours later. Sure about that? Yep. It's the same in the U.S. Compare the cost of a train from NY to Miami versus a flight. --- - The Admiral ... Copied to Clipboard!
