I have seen videos of people complaining about it. But I don't understand the base issue. Is it just that gay/trans/ugly woman exist in the Mass Effect universe ? I mean people are really angry about this .

A lot of trans people don't volunteer or answer to their birth names. It's a dead name to them, and it's generally considered insulting (as a denial of their identity) for others to refer to them as such.

The only reason I know my friend's birth name is because I need to in order to help him with medical issues, and he hasn't been able to change his legal name yet. Unless you're a trusted friend and need to know, you don't get to know it. Unless it's absolutely necessary, you don't use it.

There's a character in the new Mass Effect who is trans and reveals their birth name within a few lines of dialogue. It's considered to be a very poor representation.

Sorry if I was not clear . but that is why some "SJW"( don't want to call them that here) are upset with the game. But there are a larger number of anti-SJWs who are mad at progressive people because of mass effect. They talk about forced diversity and such.


Also the note about the Trans person. Everyone over shares in Mass Effect this person doing is no different .

What does that mean. I have no agenda but understanding why anti-SJWs are bitching about this game. There are more then one group of people upset with things here . And might I add the people who are upset with this lady over sharing are a LOT more reasonable then the other side.
