pretty sure there was some compensation given on top of the extra seat.
i'd probably do it for the money if i were flying solo. --- Not being able to land shoryuken consistently on one method of input as opposed to another is a matter of preference - zedzilla http://i.imgur.com/9Yv0R2Z.jpg ... Copied to Clipboard!

Depends on the circumstances. I would definitely pass up on a flight if I was offered $800 if I'm just going home from college, since I live 15 minutes from the airport here in Wisconsin. The net gain of $500 would be well worth it.
But if it's for the purpose of making it to a wedding, graduation, or etc., then hell no. I have an obligation to be somewhere, which is why I bought a ticket for that flight. The ONLY way I'd consider it is if they guaranteed I could get on a flight later that same day, and that I would be reimbursed. --- For all your gaming pleasures: http://www.youtube.com/user/thismikeplaysgames Currently Playing: Majora's Mask, Final Fantasy XIII, Shadow of Mordor ... Depends entirely what I am flying for. If it's something important, like a job or visiting a sick relative, no. If it's something mundane and my plans can easily be changed, sure, though I'd probably expect some sort of compensation for my inconvenience.

What's the point of planning for things accordingly if you'll just end up being booted from a plane?

If I had no urgent place to be then I'd give it up for adequate compensation
