His level of incompetence is so low, that it's honestly just funny and sad watching his conferences now. He used to say things that bothered me, but now I just laugh it off and say "it's just Spicer being Spicer"

Kinda like when an 80-year old man says something super racist or sexist.

I love when a reporter points out something dumb he said and he starts getting defensive and acts like he's being attacked
like just the way his tone of voice gets and his choice of words. the way he shifts his eyes around and postures himself, etc

Exactly. He's not a threatening figure, but his extremely defensive personality reminds me a comic character that constantly does something dumb and then frantically scrambles to pretend it never happened. It's almost endearing if you pretend he isn't a government official.
