it's pretty much exactly as advertised: a new banjo-kazooie game

remember that both banjo games scored in the 70s on metacritic, so take reviewers opinion with a grain of salt


the camera isn't the best, and there is slow, unskippable text from time to time, but they nailed the "feel" of the game. if you like this kind of game, you'll like it

Have you ever played any of the Banjo and Kazooie games? It feels pretty identical to the second game more than the first game, but it got the atmosphere down from what you'll expect from Rare games. With that said the negative is its technical aspects like the console versions only running at 30fps (sorry this is unacceptable for a game that requires timing and precision), bad camera, and some glitches that sometimes infringes on gameplay. Otherwise it's what I certainly backed for, a collect a thon 3D platformer.
