what the hell am i even paying for if i select 2 day shipping and have to wait 3-5 days anyway.

Would standard shipping speed be even slower though? It sounds like you live in the middle of nowhere.

Have you actually escalated to Amazon support then?

It honestly sounds like the warehouse and/or delivery company that serves your region has some issues.

You know what? At the very least you can put up with them 2 more times? But, if they mess up anything further for you, then yeah, don't put up with any more, and just cancel it.

That's what I would do if I saw that they're not getting any better or improving.

i dunno. ive lived in this area for years and never really had this bad of a problem. thats why i got prime. but its just been disaster after disaster. everytime i complain to them they just give me more prime for free. but now i want that 100 dollars back.

I don't use prime and their standard free shipping comes ahead of schedule like 99% of the time.

I wouldn't be surprised if you can get it refunded, but you'll need to explicitly ask. If you have more bungled Prime orders than ones that actually arrived on time, it should make it easier to negotiate.
