Spent 2 hours of my life on nothing. Yeah the acting was good and the character interactions where grounded and interesting but the movie as a whole was just about fucking nothing, nothing was accomplished, nobody grew, etc.
Don't get all the praise it received, it's a solid 8/10 at best. --- Posted with GameRaven 3.2 ... Copied to Clipboard!

That's actually why I loved it. It's the first awards movie I can remember in a long while that wasn't so fucking self important. It was just about two people getting through a shitty time in their life, ultimately everything doesn't really work out perfectly, but they learned to care and appreciate each other.
It felt real to me, I liked it. ... Copied to Clipboard!

The funniest part of the movie was when Matthew Broderick showed up out of nowhere.

I loved the movie, it went from this feeling of hopelessness in the beginning to a cathartic feeling by the end. Granted I would've preferred is maybe a single one of the sub plots was actually concluded or given closure but the fact that it was all left open like that is kind of the point I guess.

He didn't just show up out of nowhere, he just had a relatively small part with little screen time. --- "You need to lay off the peanut-butthurt and u-jelly sandwiches" - Neon Octopus ...
