I don't know. My spiritual orientation compels me to try and be modest and humble, do good deeds without thinking about it or telling about it. But, since you asked, let me think. Um, I used to be an EMT and a high school English teacher, so I did a lot of good there, but that was mostly while on the job. I don't know if there's a single monetary thing that I've done. I just live by simple precepts like always do the right thing, give as much as you can but try and be smart about it. Do for others who need. So, I dunno, my whole life has sort of been dedicated to paying it forward. I did give a fist full of cash I was going to use on some concert tickets to help out a friend from school whose house burned down back in the day. I give to homeless shelters sometimes. I try and give to my friends. I just bought my buddy an Amazon Prime membership because he used to have one and can't afford it now. So, I dunno man, lots of stuff. Thanks for asking.

that pisses me since there is world image of uk means tons of rich people, if all they want to spend money is on buying antique stuff and show off status while there are still poor people in a place like uk, SHAME ON THEM

i can understand poverty and starvation in africa and even in 3rd world country like mine, but america, uk, canada or any place in germany, europe etc. should not have people suffering from starvation

Idk, I bought a homeless guy Chinese food once.

I helped a homeless meth addict push her car out of a ditch and then gave her a jump start and she offered to s my d but I refused because she was nasty looking.

EDIT: Also I'm usually a pretty good tipper, despite not having a lot of money myself.

So not really anything outstandingly good.

Rescued the elderly lady next door from her smoke-filled living room after a kitchen fire started. She'd opened the front door to "let the smoke out" (that's what alerted me to the fire, and how I got into her house) but then wandered back towards the kitchen. She had dementia; she lived there with her middle-aged son who, I suspect, was secretly a little pissed off at me for saving her. At least, I never got a word of thanks from him.

I could hear her pet budgerigar but unfortunately couldn't find the cage in all the smoke. It must have died.

Sometimes it's stuff like that. Also helped with building things over summer holidays for schools, social events for elderly people with no relatives, helping to organise sharing sessions (a kind of therapy) for veterans and also for convicts trying to sort themselves out. Once helped a blind guy run a marathon. A real mixed bag. Like I say, you meet a lot of interesting people.

Obviously you can't do all that stuff at once, but if you're a volunteer people just seem to appreciate whatever help you can give them.
