If you go by the timeline, the Hero of Time was defeated by Ganondorf and took the remaining triforce pieces and became the Demon King Ganon; thus starting the fallen hero split of the timeline. In said timeline, Ganon is sealed away only to be reawakened by Agahnim. But Ganon in all his glory was eventually defeated by the Link from LttP.

So with that knowledge, if we apply basic transitive property then LttP Link > OoT Link. But this is all just in theory.

What does everyone else think?

MM Link is by far the best. All the experience of OoT and then MM, the time travel and mass amounts of items and weapons, yup

ALBW Link kicks ass, he fires three arrows at once and gets infinite arrows/bombs/magic.

ALttP Link is the best Link at killing Ganon. That bamf killed Ganon three times. But only one of those was Ganon at full power.

Hero of Time Link is terrible at fighting Ganon. He doesn't kill Phantom Ganon, loses to Ganon canonically in the downfall timeline, and only manages to weaken Ganon (who, unlike in ALttP, only has ONE piece of the Triforce) so that he can be sealed. And even that required the power of the Seven Sages.

LttP Link is not the same as Zelda 1 or 2 Link. He's also different from ALBW link.

LttP Link does get the complete triforce in the end though so he's the strongest of all the Links.

In the downfall timeline, yes. He was also in both Oracle games and, even though it was only his dream, Link's Awakening.

MM and SS link would be the top 2 in a fight TBH, full triforce for the latter and stone mask/FD mask, and GF sword for the former. TP and LA link (alttp link, but LA was his latest game canonically) are also up there due to either techniques or experience. IDK about BotW link though

1. ALttP Ganon, with the full Triforce.
2. Linked ending Oracles Ganon, resurrected by Twinrova, but mindless.
3. LA final boss, Dethl, assumes the form of ALttP Ganon. This one, of course, was only a dream

It's funny how in the only timeline OoT Link is regarded as a hero, he isn't even there to notice it.

LA link doesn't kill Ganon. He kills a nightmare that has the shape of Ganon. It wasn't really Ganon and wasn't as strong as Ganon.
