Maybe there's a game you didn't get to play until later in your life, due to insufficient funds as a child, or just simply not being interested at the time.

I wish I played Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask as a kid. I have a feeling they would have blown my mind in a way Super Mario 64 did.

Sonic Adventure

The in-store demos (at Sears iirc) made it look so cool. Didn't have interest in it by the time it hit GameCube.

I couldn't imagine my childhood without OoT. My condolences, TC.

Don't worry, I had more than enough video games as a kid. I had no interest in Zelda at the time, so I wasn't ready for it. :P

OoT, most N64 games. Always wanted one, never got one, after playing OoT on my uncle's roommate's system once.
