Yesterday I pre-booked the local cinemas to watch Logan. I didn't realise that I ended up booking the wrong cinemas location.

Not looking to ruin a date, I paid for casual admission (in addition to my pre-booking).

The lady at the counter said that my booking due to error is nonrefundable. So I was like, 'dang, oh well'.

Today I emailed the Hoyts and told them about my blunder and asked (nicely) for a refund. Surprisingly enough, they actually honoured my request and forwarded funds back to my account (with receipt).
