I found a spot between two building roofs that worked great for this. I could swing the camera between the two buildings underneath with no problem. I tried doing it out in the open, but it was too finicky.

Unless I missed something an android's gender assignment isn't really brought up. At least it wasn't important, anyway. It's probably just happenstance that the support YorHa unit looks male.
