That's not to say he should've been some over-muscled macho guy, but yeah. Dude has trained his whole life with ninjas. He should have some muscle/definition.

He was just skinny. He looked like he was starved.

I was less worried about his physique than I was about his entirely unintimidating presence. I realise they were trying to go for "calm mystic with unhinged edge", but instead what we got was a horrible mix of "dude where's my car HARRYDIDYOUPUTYOURNAMEINTHEGOBLETOFFIRE"

I'll agree that Finn Jones didn't have a ton to work with and was cast way too late, thus giving him not a lot of time to physically prepare. Still, he had four months, that should have been time to get at least a little more physically prepped than what we got.

I just hope after Defenders they just merge Luke Cage and Iron Fist into Heroes for Hire. They'd probably be able to get a good back and forth between the two

It was a hell of a lot better than Agents of Shield. It was on par with Luke Cage.

Maybe for the first half of season 1 when the show was in a holding pattern for Winter Soldier to come out, but AoS has since been considerably better than Iron Fist. Hell, I'd argue that AoS has probably been the most episode-after-episode entertaining series of any of the Marvel shows.
