Having to do what you hate everyday because you don't want to end up impoverished... Living paycheck by paycheck

most people just tolerate their jobs. if the place isn't oppressive or abusive that is a win in my book. but honestly lots of jobs are needed in this country and it's not like everyone is going to get a job in something they are "passionate" in, the world needs tax accountants and dental hygenists and all that

yep.

my job is my career, i'll probably retire with this company. its not my dream job by a long shot or "what i love to do" but its a great job, great company, great coworkers.

you can work a "regular" job and still enjoy it.

This is basically me. I don't hate my job, but i'm not super passionate about it or anything. Everyone here is nice and I have a TON of freedom and my own office.
