It's pretty clear that nothing ever gets better, but this way it won't get worse, you know?

If we all spontaneously die, and if heaven exists, wouldn't we all go there because we never had a chance to change our beliefs due to an unexpected event? Someone who avidly read the Bible and another who read the Qur'an told me this.

Not unless you're an infant.

Nah, because it's never unexpected, in fact it's expected.

That's not how it works. If you've heard of Jesus or Christianity and you didn't decide to become a Christian then allegedly, you go to hell.

The Bible talks about the nuclear holocaust to come all over the place, it's one of the main themes.

Oddly enough, I had a dream about this last night. Or rather a repeated dream. Three times, I could see this huge fire off in the distance which rapidly came closer. In the third dream, I actually survived this world-killing explosion by hiding in a pool. After emerging as the last survivor on Earth, I remarked to myself how that was so cheesy that not even the worst Hollywood movie would accept that survival plot. In the real world, a pool would turn to solid steam.

Also, a dead guy dressed as Spider-Man fell into the pool while I was underwater. I think he might have been an actor filming a movie or something? Well, it's a dream, so it's not like there's anyway to know.

Oh oh, you gotta be careful with that stuff, that could be an omen.

Eh, the only dream I've ever had which really made me feel that was was this odd repeated dream of looking up and seeing a bunch of people dying at once. It usually comes in the form of a plane crash, but I remember once seeing a huge wave instantly destroy a hotel balcony which had several people on it.

Every time I have that dream, I get the eerie feeling that there's going to be a point in my life where I look up and witness a bunch of people dying at once. But then time passes and I go back to feeling that it's just a dream.

A year or so back I had a dream that went something like this or from what I remember.

I was out in the yard fiddling with a lawnmower or something.

Seen my neighbor out and I walk over and we started talking (which sounded like gibberish).

There was a flash of light that got our attention.

We saw a fiery mushroom cloud raising over the city about 25 miles away (I assume it was Raleigh, Goldsboro or one of our military bases in the area).

I said "lets get in the shed because its reinforced brick and concrete, we might be ok if the doors don't blow off".

There was like a small tremor and some cracks appeared in the walls and some dust fell from the ceiling.

Then I woke up.

This I was around the time those Russian Subs and Bombers started being spotted and reported around the coast.
