Newcomers:

*Paper Mario: Down aerial is a stomp move (seriously, why has Mario never had this?), forward smash is hammer. Final smash is showstopper.
*Daisy: Brings in elements from otherwise unrepresented Mario spinoffs. Throws baseballs, swings giant paintbrushes, and final smash is driving a go kart that makes her invincible and deals collision damage.
*Birdo: Obviously would specialize in firing eggs (as opposed to Yoshi, who throws them) but also throws those hard mushroom things that you stack up in SMB2. Final smash is a really big egg that deals enough knockback to KO at low damage.
*Rundas: Ice powers, duh. Throws ice chunks that freeze on contact and generates damaging ice pillars at medium range ahead. Recovery is his ice slide. Final smash is hypermode, which gives him super armor and a very powerful phazon stream.
*Black Shadow: Plays literally just like Ganondorf. Final smash is like Captain Falcon's but it's a little slower and has greater area of effect.
*Dixie Kong: Throws random barrel. Steel ones bounce off walls but deal little damage. Wooden ones deal more damage but break on contact. Final smash summons a horde of animal friends to trample over the enemies.
*Jeff: Attacks with semi-homing rockets and short-range shock gun. Final smash is Gaia Beam, which is huge and sits on his shoulder like a bazooka.
*Hector: FINALLY REPRESENTS A DAMN AXE USER FROM FIRE EMBLEM. Final smash is a one-hit-KO critical hit, but you have to get in range for it to be effective.
*Ephraim: FINALLY REPRESENTS A DAMN LANCE USER FROM FIRE EMBLEM. Final smash is a one-hit-KO critical hit (upward thrust) with low horizontal range but great vertical range.
*Krystal: I'll be honest, I just hate Wolf, so Krystal would just be a skin that isn't so dang edgy.
*Kain: Smashes all involve the spear, specials are combo wind/spear attacks. Final smash is of course his jump move, which you can aim coming down like the dragoon pickup.
*Isaac: I have no idea since I've never played Golden Sun. I just know you can't make a Smash Bros 5 roster without putting him on it.
*Crash Bandicoot: Spins, throws TNT boxes at short range, slide attacks. Final smash, he gets the Aku Aku invincibility mask, increased running speed and a little more knockback.
*Sora: Attacks with Keyblade for normal attacks, magic for specials. Final Smash summons Riku for their limit move from KHII.

Updates:

**Luigi: Uses Poltergust 3000/5000 for tether grapple ability
**Kirby: Final Smash gives him a Robobot which has super armor and very high damage/knockback
**Link: Just one Link. Make him the middle ground of the three existing Links in terms of stats, keep normal Link's movelist.
**Ganondorf: Having given his style to Black Shadow, Dorf can now use his sword, shoot energy blasts that can be reflected by any attack, and use a reflector himself.

Why did you not only cut Greninja but also not add any new Pokemon?

Why did you cut Corrin? Especially with the success FE Fates has been? Hell, there's no reason to cut Ike for Hector either, since they pretty much cover the same mold of being heavy bruisers.

She has a sword, yes, but she also mixes it with her dragon transformations to make her stand apart from the other FE characters. Also, as mentioned, she's from FE Fates, which broke sales records for the series.

Yeah, my mistake on Ike, but then there's even less reason to have Hector in.
