As a grade. Also wonder if the courses are significantly more difficult than other universities.

There must be a reason why we treat the people who come from there almost as gods.

Not at all. There are plenty of idiots at Ivy League schools who either had wealthy parents, got scholarships for things not necessarily pertaining to their intellect, or were accepted on the grounds of inclusiveness to create a more diverse campus atmosphere.

Most people who go to Ivies aren't elite for going to Ivies, they're elite because they're able to get into Ivies. This includes rich legacies and the such who are practically nobility. Obviously this excludes people on scholarship who might be able to get into the school and have it paid for, but they can't get on to the rowing team.

Good question. A friend of mine went to a private school as a kid.

We were in the same class.
Honestly, kinda seems like a waste of money. maybe parents just like being able to brag about it.

I heard that the lowest grade one can get at Harvard is a B, but I don't know if there is any truth to that.
