Anyone else behaving in such a way around children, as was alleged with him, is not normal or acceptable, and it all depends on the accounts either being true or being fabricated with him. That aside, whatever took place doesn't seem to have been known for sure, otherwise he wouldn't have gone on major tours of Europe and still be loved by his fans if whatever it was he was accused of was definitive and conclusive. My personal opinion is that he was an energetic performer and dancer, with his style, and his look, and he had many memorable songs that made a lasting impact. His Moonwalker game remains one of my most fun memories of having played it over at my best friend's house when I was young, we goofed a lot on it, and it remains a positive memory due to the experience. If you didn't actually do the crime, then paying a settlement is probably a terrible feeling to stomach, but it still beats jail. A guy like Michael Jackson could've died behind bars and his reputation would be even worse off. Right now we mainly have a lot of speculation.
