Doing problems for a math class and the stipulation is that they're always high.
If they were high or low what would be the difference? Would I be calculating two variables or would it just increase the number of the card pool? --- http://i.imgur.com/FlUFXoG.png - by Eulu PSN:nayr909 ... Copied to Clipboard!

Totally depends what you're trying to find probability of. Like, if you just wanted to know "What is the probability of drawing an ace" it doesn't matter if they're high or low, there's still the same number of aces in the deck

Aces high or low would change the probability of drawing a straight or straight flush.

Aces high or low would change the probability of drawing a straight or straight flush. If it was something like. Drawing a card below a jack and higher than a 3. You'd just add an extra condition? --- http://i.imgur.com/FlUFXoG.png - by Eulu PSN:nayr909 ... Copied to Clipboard!

Drawing a card below a jack and higher than a 3. A variable ace is higher than a jack and lower than a 3 so in that exact instance nothing changes. --- Remember that I won't rest, 'til we share the same tense Just know, to me, you're better late than never again. ... Copied to Clipboard!

Polycosm posted...Aces high or low would change the probability of drawing a straight or straight flush. The probability of drawing a card between a Jack and a 3 doesn't change, because the same 52 cards are still in the deck and an Ace, high or low, can't take a value within that range. --- Thanks, DpObliVion, for casting my 2015 contest guru bracket into the pits of oblivion. Presumably, you would make any relevant adjustment to the game so it still makes sense, and most of these would probably result in the statistics being unaffected.
For example, what's that game where you call high, low or seven before the flip? If aces were low, it would be high, low or six. --- ... Copied to Clipboard!
