The big brands i can remember we WI, Elemental, and Etnies. Then whatever the Tony Hawk brand was called.

All three.

Skating was popular from like 3rd grade to 10th+ while surfing was big my whole life. I live in Cali though so it's kinda expected.

Huge. I was a kid right at the peak of skateboarding in the early 2000s and I was heavily involved in it.

There was a point where I refused to wear a shirt that was not a skate brand and I had irrationally intense hatred of "Wal Mart shirts" that had skateboarding themes.

Im from NYC so it was usually streetwear brands. Only brands I saw skater kids wear were Stussy BBC Ice Cream stuff like that and if you were dope like that you wore early supreme and SB's
