(aside from the never ending existential crisis in being involved in an industry that is largely unethical and sometimes a total farce and without a whole lot of upwards mobility)

Is the irritating jargon that idiots use to try and make the simple stuff they do sound more impressive.

"Actualize and dispatch these verticals in concise and strategic executions. We want tailored media across all relevant digital social platforms and target consumer groups".

Oh, so you want us to make some ads for your customers using facebook then.

True story. I'm looking to get out, maybe shift more into software development, which is close enough to what I do now anyway. I think my role is flexible enough for that.

Engineering is awesome, the less complex your vocabulary is and the shittier you dress the higher up on the food chain you are.

Marketing is a huge thing in the business section of my high school and I don't get why. In comparison there's only two Business Law classes for the year. Marketing sounds soul crushing

I had a job interview for a digital marketing firm once. I tried reading their website and I couldn't understand what they actually did. Turns out they were the ones who made ads on search engines. The amount of jargon on their website was insane.
