She has a friend who sleeps with their6 year old. It's just bad for the marriage imo. Our kid is15 months and never spent a night in our bed.

Heh. She woudn't want to.

But supposing she did, I would try to convince her otherwise because this is really counterproductive to a child's development--especially until they're nearly a teenager--and plus, she needs to be "cosleeping" with me instead.
