people claim it's intrusive, affects game performance, cooks your hard drive and causes bugs n s***. Tbh it's probably the least intrusive DRM I've had to deal with in a while, definitely had more grief in the past from GFWL and crap like that.

from what I've gathered, it just encrypts the executable and nothing else? I remember hearing stories about SSDs breaking down when playing Dragon Age: Inquisition (which uses Denuvo) but it seems it's more of a problem with the game proper than with its DRM
