Twinkie went outside one night on august 28 around midnight and never came back. if i wasn't wasting my time at a job that was just going to fucking throw me away i could have a.) spent more time with him and possibly b.) avoided losing him at all if i was doing something else that one night and blah blah, it's a stretch but who knows?

I have a degree in electrical engineering but I took a job out of college that I was way overqualified for. Of course I didn't know it at the time because they require degrees anyway, and I didn't know as much as I do now about researching companies. Also I was really broke and needed something, but I probably could have waited it out and lived with my parents or something.


Now I have a bunch of experience that is nearly useless and am too far removed from school for almost all entry level positions.

Uh...so it's Vapor World's fault that you were at work? There's no reason for them to be at fault unless your roommate/family member called and said "Twinkle got out!" and your manager didn't let you go out and help look for Twinkle.

Sweet, they got back to me today. No news yet but it's still a bit of a relief, and better than being told they're moving on

I'm not going to reas everybody's comments on here I'm just going to say this.

If it's been two weeks since your interview they probably have no interest in hiring you, if they are still interested in hiring you do you really want to work for a company whose idea of efficient hiring is two or three weeks between interview and actual start of the job. If it's the only interview that you've had call them back, worst thing they can say at this point is no but I would not stop filling out applications even if they do hire you cuz they're probably not going to be very good.

1.) I said it was a stretch. don't talk shit, this is one subject i'm not willing to pretend to be polite about so you really shouldn't have even said anything

2.) I let him out. He liked to go outside. I would let him out 2-3 times a day for almost 10 years and he always came back. I knew the risks but I'm still pissed because fuck Vapor World. It's their fucking fault. I'm glad the FDA came and fucked over the e-cig business and if my friend wasn't a manager there, I would go as far to say that I hope the entire company tanks.
