they not supposed to have them because Obama made a treaty for them to destroy them

The destruction of Syria's chemical weapons began on the basis of several international agreements with Syria that stipulated an initial destruction deadline of 30 June 2014. The UN Security Council Resolution 2118 of 27 September 2013 required Syria to assume responsibility for and follow a timeline for the destruction of its chemical weapons and its chemical weapon production facilities. The Security Council resolution bound Syria to the implementation plan presented in a decision of the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW). On 23 June 2014, the last declared chemical weapons were shipped out of Syria for destruction.[1] The destruction of the most dangerous chemical weapons was performed at sea aboard the Cape Ray, a vessel of the United States Maritime Administration's Ready Reserve Force, crewed with U.S. civilian merchant mariners. The actual destruction operations, performed by a team of U.S. Army civilians and contractors, destroyed 600 metric tons of chemical agents in 42 days.[2]

America doing stuff about it is the reason the civil war is STILL going on. If they stayed out of this whole mess Assad would have crushed the insurgency years ago, ISIS wouldn't have taken such a strong foothold in the region, and the Syrian people can return to relative peace (as much as you can get under a dictator anyway).

That should be reason enough for the US to stay out of it this time, anything else would be propagating a vicious cycle.

That sounds a lot like Iraq without American Troops on the ground. >_>

If the nations of Europe (or anyone else for that matter), feels so badly about what Assad's doing that they feel something more needs to be done, they are free to raise an army, and do it themselves.
