Didn't wanna bring it here but oh well getting desperate. For the past 2 years I've been dealing with this constant bubble like feeling in the back/right side of my head. I thought maybe it was withdrawal but all the doctors say its just anxiety. I didn't believe them at first but eh...its been 2 years since I quit my meds. What if they're right. Has anyone else experienced what Im experiencing? It literally feels like a giant bubble full of water in the back of my head. I thought it was a brain tumor but all tests came back normal.

Have you seen a therapist? I'd definitely recommend it, even if they do anything directly they can help you get a better understanding of what's going on.

I never used to have anxiety, started getting panic attacks, instantly cured by Effexor... ... get on Effexor.

Note: Effexor is for anxiety related to physical symptom distress - which a weird feeling in your head would count as. For anxiety related to external distress, Prozac is better.

I'm way too scared to try SSRIs honestly...look up PSSD and you'll see why.

Exactly what I'm saying which is what leads me to believe its withdrawal and not anxiety literally feels like there's water/bubbles in my head.

I have anxiety, never had a bubble like feeling in the back of my head. On the other hand, I wouldn't know what that's supposed to feel like. My stomach just turns and knots up.

I used to take anti depression meds between 2012 and early 2014.
I felt this strange lingering feeling inside my head which was why I decided with my doctor to lean them off to see if the feeling went away.
It of course didn't but at least I'm not on meds anymore.

I don't know for sure if they're connected but I have definitely noticed my memory has gotten progressively worse ever since. The really weird thing is that it's only my short term memory that has gotten worse.

My long term memory still feels like normal and I can easily remember stuff from many years ago.

You still have that feeling? Are they brain zaps perhaps? Mine are similar but don't seem to be brain zaps.

I've never experienced a bubble sensation. That seems odd and I'd be concerned as well.

Recently I've been experiencing new sensations though. The world feels like it's closing in. Even when I'm outside in a wide open space, I get the sensation that I'm about to be trapped or something, like there's big invisible walls that are pressing in around me.

The other one generally hits when I'm getting home from work and am approaching my place. I get hit with a sudden sense of dread, and it's like I'm seeing my place, but it's different somehow. It feels like a strange place even though I've lived there for 20 years. Almost like I'm seeing it for the first time. That's happened several times over the past few weeks, and once at work when I arrived. It's strange and unsettling.

ive had all kinds of head sensations, both bubbles, tingling, a creeping "fullness" because my anxiety is health related (like i always think something is wrong with me like im about to have a stroke or a heart attack) it was all anxiety and once i made strides in reducing that ( diet and excercise did way more for me than meds but thats due to the base fear behind my particular anxiety) they all have since gone and i usually go through new strange sensations every time i figure thw old ones out like my body is constantly adapting to try and trick me lol

Yknow when i started taking meds back in 2010 i noticed a change in my sexual activity. I attributed it more to a personality trait rather than a problem. Hm. I can almost guarantee that i have a different sex drive on zoloft. However, whenever i would run out accidentally i noticed a spike in my drive/orgasms. Im not completely devoid of a sex drive mind u and my orgasms are definitely not as great as they used to be but im c00l with it

I just looked up 'Brain zaps' on Wikipedia and I can kinda relate to some parts.
I don't have any severe problems like nausea, vomiting or diarrhea though.
Only annoying ones such as sleepiness, bad memory and a "thick feeling"(?) in my head.

Did you think it was something more serious? It doesn't feel like anxiety at all but my doctors tell me otherwise.

oh yeah i thought it was all kinds of things, but scans came back fine and most importantly i began to notice the triggers, is this a 24/7 thing? if not try to make note of what you are doing and when it gets the worst, for example almost on queue at 11 pm when i was laying in bed i would come over with an overwhelming semse of dread, and when i noticed that I was often able to talk myself out of it untill it stopped happening
anxiety is very different for everyone, and never underestimate what it can do to you whether its all in your head or a self fufilling profecy
what anxiety "feels like " will always vary person to person

Yeah it's a 24/7 thing...even when I don't feel anxious I have it. Its literally the only symptom I have too which is what leads me to believe its not anxiety. *shrug* Ive been off Adderall for 2 years now though so prolly not that.

diet and excercise because my anxiety is all based on something being wrong with my health since i used to take such poor care of myself
its inportant to convince yourself that it cant be the serious problem you think it is and the tests were a good help to me, but 2 years is a long time to have a constant feeling like that
have you tried talking to an actual anxiety specialist or is it just your general doctors

I just started talking to one actually. Hoping with time all my issues will go away. Some people do take longer to withdraw from certain meds but 2 years is a long time. Adderall is a lot like meth but I was.only on it every day for like a year and a half...
