I'd honestly try to start up like a modern style arcade, with classic machines and modern consoles. I'd be able to hire lawyers and other business people to make sure everything runs smoothly and that there's no violations. I could easily get guests and have panels and conventions at the place as well, and host various little video game tournaments.

And even though places like this don't do all that well these days, it wouldn't matter since I'm rich as fuck.

The white house would be like, $100-200 million to recreate, judging by similar sized properties that have gone up for sale (like the playboy mansion). The model for life, let's say another $100 million just to be incredibly generous. Now you still have 99,700,000,000 left. That's 0.30% of your fortune used. You haven't even touched a single percent of your fortune. You could build another 200 white houses and have money left to spare.

Ok, this is gonna get complicated because I realize HOW much money this actually is and I intend to get some mileage out of it.

1) Take half and invest it. Don't bother investing it myself, spend some time finding the best financial people and set it up so THEY can grow it. This isn't my strong suit, hire people who are good at it. I'm gonna need the income because I intend to get a lot of shit done with the money.

2) Take a billion and set up trusts for all the people I care about or have had meaningful positive impacts on my life. This list isn't super long so $1B will easily cover it. Set up trusts so they can't ruin their lives with the money. I want them taken care of, not dying of overdoses (which would happen to at least 5 of them).

3) Take another billion and use it to hire private investigators, lawyers, and accountants. These people are gonna ruin everyone who ever grievously wronged me. This list is even shorter but I'm willing to spend extra on each one to make sure their fall is brutally painful.

What? Can't the world's richest man be petty? I don't intend to do anything illegal to them, but they all have enough dirt in their backgrounds that their careers would effectively be over.

4) Find some young politicians whose values I support and put them on payroll. I'm not talking outright bribes, but as long as they continue to support the values I approve of these guys are never gonna be short of money to run for office and their opponents are gonna face EXTREMELY stiff resistance.

5) Buy Square Enix and find somebody fucking competent to run them. License the Dragon Quest franchise to Atlus since I feel like they could really do wonders with it. Revitalize the Final Fantasy franchise in house. If the Bravely Default series can work as a modern day fantasy style Turn Based RPG then FInal Fantasy definitely can FFS. Devote all other resources to getting Kingdom Hearts 3 finished.

6) Create a platform for uploading videos to rival YouTube. Never play ads on it ever because I don't need to monetize the damn thing since I'm rich AF already. Set it up on a subscriber pay wall similar to how Twitch works, so that ANYONE can view videos but you can subscribe to the channel. All revenue from subs goes to the channel creator. Set it up to stream as well. Put both YouTube and Twitch out of business when all their content creators realize they can make WAAAAAAAY more money on my site. This allows content creators to have the freedom to create content the way they want without sweating likes, subs, views, or whatever the hell YT has added to the most recent algorithm. Allows channels to run their OWN ads (but not site sponsored) so they can maintain their ad revenue. In general, make a site where creative people can freely express themselves for our viewing pleasure.

7) Set up a foundation to give grants to high school students attempting to go to college. Grants will include: STEM grants for women, STEM for men, BS grants, and BA grants. All grant recipients get a full ride to whatever school they can get into. all schools expenses paid. Housing and housing expenses will also be paid. In addition, each recipient will get a $1000 monthly stipend to cover expenses. Eligibility for grants will be based on need AND the likelihood of the individual to complete their education. Don't want people getting the money and flaking out on me.

More ideas but I'm running out of space. Those are some of the big purchases tho

This is basically going to turn into a giant cp server

Make it a goal to spend a billion dollars a day.

1. Effectively 'buy' a large, third world country.

2. Use the funds I have to build up massive amounts of infrastructure and homes, taking advantage of the dirt cheap conversion rate. Ensure the country is capable of surviving with minimal trade or outside input.

3. Hire smugglers, transporters, and paramilitary to pull people (Especially kids) out of slavery and sweatshops around the globe. Bring them (Willingly, of course) to the country, with shelter, food and jobs available.

4. At this point, the US would probably be itching to start an open war, while already have been attempting to use covert attacks on my country. Personally I'd probably have to be running multiple live streams of myself at all times, and only eating food grown locally out of my own home to prevent assassination attempts. Probably die within a few years from "Suicide".
