The rules regarding suicide seem to fall closely in line with Christian philosophical beliefs making this place a haven for believers such as myself.

However I've increasingly noticed the moderation system is abused in order to shield Islamic extremism and Islam apologists from criticism.

I'm wondering how GameFAQs as a whole is structured theologically.

Elaborate? As I think they are just the way they are to prevent liability lawsuits.

kids under the age of 13 use this site apparently and some people in the age of 13 to 19 are affected by that act you mentioned. So gamefaqs doesn't want to get sued.

Also, there are many topics on POTD that criticize Christianity. To be fair, it seems that gamers are not religious. Game Theory from youtube has a video on why Final Fantasy (One of the greatest gaming franchises in terms of sales and popularity ) is anti Christianity.

Why does some people try to shoehorn religion into everything?

Perhaps the same could be said of all religions.

I was quoting the Matrix, but when you said the " a spoon is just a spoon" you mean there is no larger context when something or an action happens? So an event happens because it happens and there's nothing to it than the occurrence of the event?

I know that you quoted Matrix and I quoted Castlevania SOTN.
I mean that the Gamefaqs ToS is the way it is to prevent them from getting sued, and their views of different religions got nothing to do with it. And Square loves to take bits from different religions in their games, and it got nothing to do with their views of Christianity.

If there is a loving deity who controls the cosmos and will care for your soul forever in the afterlife, how is that not the most important factor in life that dominates everything? How could somebody possibly ignore that?

If he/she/it loves my soul, then he/she/it accepts that some of us doesnt want it shoehorned into everything.

Back in the day, you weren't allowed to say gris. You weren't even allowed to say g***! Now, you get to say gris to your heart's content! Gris gris grissy gris gris! It's hard to think they'd have changed that rule if they were supporting Christian values.

It's easy to say you're a Christian. Harder to actually live like a real one.
