yeah i am.

she used a different type of dye now because i've been dying my hair red for almost 2 years and the color is finally set so it barely fades over 6 weeks.

so now she used a contact dye (i think that's the phrase she used) that'll wash out a little every time i wash it and it's better for your hair. it has conditioning treatment in it too when you're dying it. no ammonia, etc.

yeah i had been using it for a couple weeks before i got my hair dyed this time. i really like it. it has actually mostly done the preferences i had them formulate. my curls were more defined, there was less frizz.. the only thing is that it hasn't helped my split ends a ton but my hairdresser is gonna recommend me a hair serum and have it delivered to my house.

yeah i really like that i work in a corporate environment but my company has no dress code. so you can have visible tattoos, piercings and dye your hair however.. dress however. it's all about building your own brand and as long as you can build a great brand for yourself with the appearance you have you're fine.

yeah the only time we heard anything bad in training about appearance was "do you really want to be sweat pants and flip flop guy?" "do you really want to be the girl who is known for wearing club clothes to work?"

it was mostly about maintaining a clean and professional appearance which you can do with dyed hair, tattoos and piercings

This has been one of the biggest drawbacks about my career choice. I have always wanted to do emo hair (like below) with purple highlights, but I have never worked in a job that would allow it. Apparently people dont take your economic analysis seriously if you have emo hair. :-/

it actually took almost a year to build up to this color because i started with brunette-ish hair and i had to dye it a bunch of times to get it not auburn and then a bunch of times to have it stick and not fade after 6 weeks.

Not saying that's the way it SHOULD be, but it's the reality.

You can't work any white collar job and dye your hair unnatural colors. People won't trust you. Nobody is going to want a doctor or lawyer who has blue streaks in their hair.
