4IGT3rM

Got a good deal on it. I prefer the Technic sets. I don't own too many. Don't get around to buying them often. It's been like 5 years since the last one I bought.

This one should be fun.

What about you?

Some of them are petty awesome. I wanted the Super Star Destroyer. Well, I still do. They retired it, and the price is insane. Not that it wasn't to begin with.

And my set shows up tomorrow. Not sure if I'll start it right away since my patch cables also show up.

Found a sealed Harry Potter set at a thrift store a week or so ago, set 4695. It's just a small set with 54 pieces, but I like to collect legos. The price people are selling the set for on amazon is lulz too.

Not really.
4634 pieces for $350 is actually pretty low, given the general 10-cents-each formula.

Still though, it's three-hundred fifty dollars. I had to get good and drunk to hit the "checkout" button.

Haha. Well, the one I just bought was 3929 pieces for 219.99. So that's only 5.5 cents a piece. It's 25% more expensive. So more than I'm willing to pay right now. Lawls.

If I didn't spend my money on other stupid shit I definitely could too, but other dumb shit takes priority. But I'm hardly thrifty. But space is the major concern right now, my living quarters are relatively small and it's starting to get cramped already.

That's a bit more than me I think. I only have like 2 actual Lego sets. One of the old Batmobiles, and another technics set. https://shop.lego.com/en-US/4X4-Crawler-9398

I also have some off brand Tank/Semi. I don't even remember if I have the manuals for putting it together anymore. Haha.

Yeah, I just spent a bunch of money to consolidate my audio equipment to give myself more room at my desk. I'm still not sure where I'm going to put the new one once it's done being built.

That wouldn't surprise me. I do know that every single Lego ever molded had a unique identifier to show what mold, and what cavity it came from. That way if mold is worn or damaged they can trace it back to exactly where it happened and repair it.

Yes. My Nephew who is 7 loves it and whenever I see him he's always showing me his Lego sets and Pokémon cards. It brings back a lot of memories for me and makes me nostalgic. Due to that I really enjoy helping him build his sets, look at his cards and so on. I also buy him Lego/Pokémon things for Birthdays and Christmas. I don't buy them for myself though.

One of my adult cousins is into Lego. Never really talked to him about it because, well, I don't care much about Lego, so I'm not sure how feels about any perceived stigma. However, given that malls are starting to have Lego stores where you see unaccompanied adults (ie, no kids) wandering around, whatever stigma might be vanishing a little.

Personally, I liked Legos as a kid but I don't like the bland style of their minifigures for the most part (although I have bought some of the blind-bagged ones) or the prices for the sets. However, I enjoy the idea of Legos so I can understand people being into it. I also like the 8-bit Lego art stuff which I've seen for Pokemon and the old Mario games.
