Lockpicking in Fallout 4 was ridiculously easy. I don't think I ever broke more than 25 lockpicks or so in a playthrough.

i spend 95% of my time in bethesda games installing mods. so it's turn wrong way, try, lock pick weakened, a few locks later, turn wrong way, try, lock pick gone, no more lock picks for you unless you stop doing side quest and get to the next area where you can buy them.

but yeah the word thing in FO4 was awful. I like the ones where you have to connect the 'power' from one end to the other, the little poor mans mazes. But sudoku is the only that I have done outside of a game for enjoyment.

I like how New Vegas decided that the problem with hacking was that you could back out to reset the limit so that you wouldn't get locked out, so they added a timer between attempts. Seriously, Obsidian?

I was playing a silver match and there was another adept wasting time grabbing enemies and throwing them off a cliff. It's like, we're surrounded and you're doing this instead of shooting it?

Coincidentally, I had to solo half of the 5th wave because everyone died. >_>

It's probably just because my guns are still shit, but grabbing them and throwing them off the edge is a whole lot faster than shooting them.

Not worth it for single enemies. And the combos never do enough damage to kill them outright, so you'd have to finish them off with guns or melee anyway.

I like the Valkyrie in SP, but I've heard it's shit in MP.

Then again, I've heard that just about everything other than the Vanquisher and the Black Widow is shit in MP, so I dunno.

the Predator at least works as a decent sidearm if you run out of ammo for a power based class

only problem with this is that there's a chance a pleb bronze weapon or class shows up in the higher tier packages (happened when I opened up a 100k pack - hello katana x)

You'll be waiting a lot longer than a year for $20. And the only memed thing that might get fixed is character creation

It will be completely free if you subscribe to EA Access in about a year. I know paying a measly $30 a year isn't technically free but if anyone can't afford that they have no business gaming. That's about how long it was when they gave out Inquisition though.

yeah, guns are the true barrier of entry for the higher difficulties, because a destroyer's going to shrug off the bullets coming out of your Avenger X

speaking of enemies, the outlaws allegedly got buffed, but it's only the snipers that are a threat now, and the remnant are still a joke

Finished Elaaden. For a place that was a huge hellhole, it was rather enjoyable. Even got it to 100% viability without activating the vault, haha...wasn't sure that was doable until now.

it's not terrible but it's heavy and cool downs. and multi doesn't really set up well for snipers in general. And it's got the 1 clip size so if you do miss you spend the next 6 years reloading.

I used the Widow until I got the Isharay. Still waiting for the Vanquisher, but I'm not gonna hold my breath on that.

I unlocked the Valiant in a recent box, which I've heard is basically a somewhat less impressive Vanquisher. Should I switch from the Isharay to that?

don't remember using one in single player, looking at stats it's weaker than the black widow with a bigger clip size and better accuracy. The Irsahary's ability to OHKO most units is too valuable for me to give up in single and i'm sure i'd use it in multi for non biotic classes.

The Raptor is a much better assault rifle than any of the actual ARs. Ammo is a little low, but it feels so much better to use, and it actually does damage.
