Oh man, just watched the clip of Seed HD where Nicol dies. They reanimated it so it looks like Kira's sword accidentally hit his cockpit, instead of Kira intentionally slicing into it like int he original
I guess they gotta make Kira even more holier-than-thou. lolol
Curiously, Nicol's death happened in episode 27 of Seed HD. In the original it happened in episode 29. Did they get rid of a recap episode?

I've had this on my mind for a while now since a few of you have mentioned this to me. The burning question is: who the **** is Full Frontal?
1. Last year while I was roaming the wikis, I chanced upon FF's. In it, he was said to be some random dude off the streets given plastic surgery and vocal cord surgery then implanted with Char's memories. Now who am I to disagree with this since it's said to be from the novel.
2. But then I remembered that the OVAs are different from the novels. The Unicorn's Magnum wasn't as ridiculously powerful in the novels.
3. Remember episode 2? That was dedicated to Full Frontal nudity. There's really no reason NOT to reveal stuff about him in episode 2. I don't see how his past is going to be relevant again in the coming episodes since, well the show really isn't even about him, or who he is.
4. Good job on the plastic surgery! Get a haircut! Lose some weight! Where is Char's scar? And the funniest thing was when Bangher asked him if he was Char he said: lol some say I am the second coming of Char. Really now? If he had Char's memories he wouldn't have dodged that question. Since well he would believe he was actually Char.
He has Char's scar, Granzon. It's in the same place it always is. But yeah, I agree. Frontal probably isn't Char in the OVA either. He totally dodged the question with his "I am a vessal" response.

It was a pretty cool story, bros. For me, I think the XM-10 Flint was the best MS in story. The GM to the Crossbone's RX-78. Love dem grunts
The art style was pretty bad at first. I couldn't tell what was going on some of the times. But it got better. I guess the artist learned how to draw >_>.
Tobia was a great protagonist, and Kinkeido was an awesome mentor figure. Shame about Zabine though.
We need this as an anime

Yep, I'm definitely going to the Sunday Gundam events. Not sure what my plans are for Saturday are though. And I'm not sure if I'm going at all on Friday.
What events are you planning on going to, Angelo?

Definitely gearing up for that UNDERSTANDING ending. Flit Heel Turn imminent.
I liked this episode, but it felt a bit hamfisted. In a way, it was sort of similar to episode 2 of Unicorn, when Banagher was captured and taken to Palau and had dinner with Gilboa's family. But it was a lot more forced than that. "Go Kio and try to understand us", where as Banagher's "Understanding" was much more natural and well-done.
But still, it wasn't a bad episode by any means. It was nice to get a view of Vagan that lasted more than a few seconds. Very middle-easterny IMHO
Can't wait to see the Vagan Gundam. I wonder who will pilot? Fatty?

Crinn is really starting to grow on me. I can't wait to see how he becomes a terrorist. Rick disappointed me with his "Deloyerans don't deserve help" attitude though :(
And i can't wait to see what they do with the reporter dude too.
They're setting up for something pretty cool, I can tell

So it appears that Crinn's dad IS a piece of ****. I mean, I guess it's still yet to be seen. It's possible that he was simply tricked by von Stern... but I'm pretty sure that he is collaborating with him

"One of these days, I'm gonna find a loophole my friend." - Man in Black
Wow, it took them 9 episodes to get Crinn in the cockpit. That's awesome. Most mecha shows rush to get their main character in the pilot seat as soon as possible so that they can sell model kits. Here, they took their time to develop the politics and setting.

Beated Broken blade today. To my surprise the story doesn't end at movie 6. I hope we get the rest of the story someday because that was some good angry robot sex. Literally.
Kind of a turning point for Crinn. For the first time, he is realizing what exactly he's doing. I kind of a had a feeling Dirk would die when they showed him looking at his family picture, and then later on Rocky asked if Crinn would be able to kill someone he knew.
There is something about these older shows that really made you care when a character died. I was much more emotionally effected when Dirk, a character who had minimal screen time and was shown to be basically an average dude, died than I did when Nicol died in Seed. Better writing? Maybe. I'm not exactly sure what it is to be honest.
