He deserves every ounce of hate he gets. You only Move Twice is at least Top 10 material. I could almost forgive him if he included my personal favorite (Trilogy of Error), but that's probably the worst Top 2 anyone could think of.
This video is stupid for two reasons. First off he expectedly whines about the lack of qualityhorribleness of the newer episodes like every other annoying, obsessive simpsons troll that refuses to believe anything after season 9 happened. I doubt he has watched much from the later seasons, because some episodes have been very well done and certainly are better than notorious 5 minute conway twitty bits from an always inferior Family Guy episode. Second, he should not be able to profit from this episode, he is literally stealing tons of clips for entertainment purpose, and no, simply saying "thanks for the clips Fox" in the credits does not provide fair use for copyright material.
To be fair, he is the Nostalgia Critic, so he really wouldn't have any business reviewing new stuff though he should have said "Best of the first 10 Seasons" or something.
I haven't watched anything since Season 15 (and I felt like I watched for 2-3 seasons too long at that point). I occasionally watch an episode just to see how it's progressed. The last one I watched was episode 500 for the hell of it and it wasn't funny. I don't think there were even any jokes in the show it was just a story, and if they can't reel it in for a landmark episode that people are going to watch "just because" then how can I trust that Episode 507 is any good? I don't doubt that there are good episodes, but I'm not willing to watch the bad stuff to get to the good stuff. I guess I could look up a list of what's good, but I have other stuff to watch now (no not Family Guy).

1. I agree, there are quite a few good later season episodes.
2. While I despise the over elongated bits in Family Guy just as much as anyone else, let's not Conway Twitty bash. Guy was a musical genius.

Actually most obscure movies he reviews tend to get more views on Netflix and DVD sales after he's reviewed a movie. It's free advertisement on most cases.

Eh, he makes a decent case for his personal number one, even if I don't agree. Lumping every Halloween episode together is just plain cheating though.
I was going to make a list of snubs, but it wound up being longer than his actual list. So many great episodes. You Only Move Twice is great, but I don't know about "top ten" great. Hank Scorpio's probably the best one-shot character ever though. That man needs his own show.
And yeah, his rant at the beginning is pretty predictable, but it seems to be required by law that every discussion of The Simpsons involve some mention of how the show should have ended years ago (i think it should have ended after season eight oh darn there i go).
Not a great video or a great list, but looking at past NC videos, it could have been a lot worse.
The Halloween episodes are terrible. The only ones I even remotely liked was the killer Krusty doll and Homer getting stuck in a different dimension. I'm disappointed that the one where Homer eats the blowfish, the one where Homer goes to college and especially the Be-Sharps one to be missing =(
