In the beginning, there were 64 tracks. Some were awesome songs, some were respectable songs, some were Huh!?
62 pieces of work from Mitsuda have fallen away, leaving us with only two remaining songs, both of whom have crushed their competition along the way. The ending sequence music won the first semifinal 16-9 in it's most dangerous match thus far, and appropriately enough, Time Circuits, aka Corridors of Time followed suit yesterday with a 15-9 victory over the game's main theme. The way these two manhandled their competition, it seemed inevitable they would meet in the finals. But only one can win.
I still haven't voted for Corridors since round 1, even during a round where I was the only person to do so. Meanwhile, TFAT was my original pick to win the whole thing. Slam dunk choice for me.

I can usually understand people's choices when it comes to music, but I'm genuinely surprised by how much people like Corridors. It's not "bad", but I'm still shocked that it was able to beat Schala's Theme. I mean yeah, it represents the best era you visit in the game... but so does Schala's, and I just find that to be the much more emotional and enjoyable tune of the two.
To Far Away Times is simply my favourite piece of VG music ever, so it's an incredibly easy choice here.
Just playing these on the DS music box seeing how I've already exceeded my 350MB/12hr limit, which apparently makes loading even 240p vids a challenge, and I'm finding that I'm honestly enjoying Corridors of Time a lot. In spite of that, I'm finding that I'm actually preferring the track before it, Depths of the Night, a track in which I'd pick TFAT (or OoT if we want to go my mind-boggling DS track name acronyms) over it fairly easily.
Really, I think I'd pick TFAT over virtually everything else in this bracket with one possible exception (two if the additional tracks were in the bracket), and Corridors of Time, excellent and nostalgic map theme or not, just isn't that exception...
Come to think of it, what even happened to that track anyway? *Checks bracket*

I actually didn't even notice this contest was going on until like 2 days ago, but I suppose I may as well vote in the finals. Corridors of Time is rightfully here. Dunno if I'd say To Far Away Times is the 2nd best in CT, but it's definitely up there. Easy match though.
