Please note, this is a DOUBLE ELIMINATION bracket. That means everybody gets a minimum of two battles. Even if you lose a battle, you still have a chance to come back and become the champion.
Seeding was primarily randomized after tiering based on career records, and as such will not determine "home field advantage" except in the championship round. Instead, order will be determined by coin flip, and reflected in the topic title.
~~~Rules and Regulations~~~ -The contestant listed first goes first. -Each competitor must spit two 12 line verses, alternating Rapper A-Rapper B-Rapper A-Rapper B. -After the final verse has been posted, there will be a 36 hour voting period. -You can’t vote on your own match. -As always, keep the player hatin' to a minimum. -Extensions may be allowed on a discretionary basis. -In case of a tie at the end of the voting period, there will be a tiebreaker round. A new topic will be posted with the 2 raps from each rapper, and each rapper will then be allowed to spit a further 12 line verse, in the same alternating order, followed by another round of voting.

In an attempt to fix votals for the last 3 matches (and since people's raps have been so drawn out and people have stopped paying attention) I'm going to make a rapping topic, then repost the raps in a new topic for voting, as if it were in overtime.

I am putting Ed Bellis in charge of all judgments for this finals to avoid any possible conflict of interests.
As a double elimination tournament (and as I established back when I had no idea that I would be in the finals), with Alec undefeated, Alec can win with a defeat of Seg in the first round of the finals. As Seg has a defeat already, Seg needs to win twice in the finals to win. If necessary, we will have a second round to determine the winner.
Alec gets home field advantage in the first round by virtue of the better record. Originally the rule was that we would randomize the order in the second round, but I'm willing to waive that and go first in the sudden death match.
When we have posted all of our raps, Ed Bellis will post the voting topic with all the raps included to avoid any bias from me posting the finals topic.
Also, heads up, I might break the 24 hour limit for the first time, I've got a busy next two days and most of my free time tomorrow will go to watching the Bruins make me tear my hair out. So... no rush.
