Horrigan, The Shadowlord, Daniel Garner, Neku, and Shang Tsung have challenged Nero, Master Chief, Samus, Fou-Lu, and The Prince to a fight! Location of the fight: neutral, nondescript terrain. Which side will win?
Guidelines
- The fight will occur in real-time (like an FMV sequence). Gameplay mechanics are less important than how the characters would function in a real-time environment.
- The members of each team are ideal teammates capable of a pre-selected plan of battle.
- "Broken" refers to a lot of things, including insta-death, auto-effects, a variety of status effects (e.g., Imp, Silence, Stop, *not* Poison), and revival. Unless stated otherwise, nobody has them, though do use your own discretion.
- There may be SPOILERS from all of the games the characters are from.
Rules for Voting
- Bold your votes (using <b> and </b>).
- Provide a justification for why you think the selected team would win. Fanboy logic, ignoring character assumptions or rules, and vague or unintelligible justifications are all grounds for having your vote disqualified.
- If you want to switch your votes simply bold the change; there's no need to delete your post, though you may if you wish.
- This match will end in 24 hours.
Frank Horrigan is as seen in Fallout 2 with his End Boss Plasma Gun and End Boss Knife.
The Shadowlord appears as he does in NieR, possessing all attacks displayed in all three phases of his fight.
Daniel Garner is as he appears in Painkiller and its expansion, wearing the heavy set of armor and armed with all his weapons. He cannot turn into a demon. He has the Silver Cards Mercy and Health Stealer, a Quad Damage (somehow), and the Gold Cards Triple Haste, Rebirth, and Rage equipped. The Silver last the whole fight, Quad lasts 30 seconds, and the Gold lasts for 30 seconds. Each of the Gold Cards and Quad can be activated at will. Garner has been filled with uncontrollable bloodlust and will not listen to any reason or follow his teammates' plans. He his also mysteriously wearing a red ring that is difficult to remove, however no other effects will occur.
Neku is as he appears in The World Ends With You, with his player pin and functioning as if he had a pact with someone. He has access to his Blown Kiss, Leo, Zangetsu, Lightning Pawn, Creepy Weepy Barrier, and Angel Magnum pins. Due to Neku's player pin he's able to read the minds of people near him and implant the words "Hail Semi", though how well depends on who/what it is.
Shang Tsung is as he appears in the Mortal Kombat series, in his young form. The only souls (and thus, transformations) he has are Horrigan, Garner, and Shadowlord, which are exactly as they appear in the fight, and Dante (From DMC4 with no canon regen and 10 seconds of devil trigger, no Pandora or Yamato), Sephiroth (from FF7/Kingdom Hearts series, with limited teleportation and access to his PC form's magic), and Sora (from Kingdom Hearts 2 FM+, with access to Valor, Wisdom, and Master forms). He can be in each state for up to 20 seconds, continuous or on-and-off.

Nero is as he appears in Devil May Cry 4 in his base form. He has all his weapons and techniques gained through the game, and he may access Devil Trigger for 10 seconds every 5 minutes. The regen on his DT is as it's done in the gameplay though, not cutscenes.
Master Chief is as he appears by the end of Halo 3. He is equipped with his SPARTAN-II armor and rechargeable energy shield. He brings a Shotgun, Energy Sword, Assault Rifle, Battle Rifle, Rocket Launcher, Missile Pod, Needler, dual Brute Maulers, and Brute Shot with him into battle. He also has a single Deployable Cover. And yes, as long as they don't contradict the games, the novels are valid.
Samus is as she appears in Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, in her normal state near the end of the game. She may enter her Corrupted state for 14 seconds every 5 minutes with no ill effect. If she lasts for any longer than that in Hyper Mode she will die in the next 5 seconds. She's aware of this limit.
Fou-Lu is as he appears in his playable form in Breath of Fire IV. He has access to most skills and magic from his playable hybrid forms and can transform into any of his playable non-Tyrant/Infini hybrid forms, though he cannot use breath attacks.
The Prince is as he appears in the Prince of Persia series. The Time powers he has are those from Warriors Within, and he has 10 non-refillable sand slots. He may freely turn into and from the Dark Prince, as seen in The Two Thrones, and will not suffer from its life-draining effect. He also has all the powers gained from The Forgotten Sand (PS3/360 versions) save for The Power of Time and Memory.

So Garner has been driven mad by the Evil Seed. He's probably going crazy attacking his teammates. The Evil Seed has multiple plot showings to this effect. Aeon went mad and slaughtered an entire village, after they had saved his life. The monks of Kilik's temple went mad and slaughtered each other. Even Kilik's sister fell prey to madness after she gave Kilik the magic mirror; she attacked him and he was forced to kill her in self-defense. Considering that's how it canonically operates, there's no reason that it wouldn't work the same way on Garner.
From the outset, this isn't a 5-on-5. It's a 5-on-4-on-1.
Also, Shang copies pre-battle effects, so if he transforms into Garner, he's going to be wailing on his teammates too.
