I'm only slightly nervous. Mostly pumped. Although, it's going to be weird to have to craft a new circle of friends. Any advice, board 8? You know, besides the usual: study hard and make friends.
I will admit, the only thing I am worried about is making it to class on time. Unfortunately I was stupid and scheduled classes ten minutes apart from each other in entirely different buildings.

You'll be happy about this later. My first semester I put breaks in between most of my classes for this reason and I ended up sick of how much sitting around I was doing.
Otherwise I'm jealous. Hope the move-in goes well. =]

Once I learn the best routes between buildings I'm sure it will get much better.
You are probably also underestimating how long 10 minutes is. I have a half-mile between the buildings of my back/back classes and I haven't been late to class yet. First day you'll probably spend more time wandering around the building looking for the room than actually going between buildings.
I always like talking to freshmen. Helps relive the excitement. =P

I have these giant 4-6 hour breaks with my classes, and this is true. It's my first week and I am already tired. That said, I'm a commuter, and there's been a lot going on at school this week to keep me extremely busy. Still, today, I'm here for 13 hours.
Although, some breaks are good, because there are some days where you don't want to jump from one class to another. This is especially true for major exams and such, at least for me. I'm one of those people that looks over notes obsessively until I have to take my exam. Breaks are good if you're like that, too.

Alright, I'm starting to feel better about the block thing now. Hopefully the hurricane doesn't completely screw up my first day of classes on Monday. We already got an e-mail about the possibility of cancelled classes.
my first semester i had lots of breaks and i didn't get anything done in them, last spring i had a long section of classes and it sucked, now I have a bit of a combination of the two, except for the part on thursday where i go from 2-5:30
