As should be well known by now, GoG.com just added a Wing Commander I&II double pack for $5.99. It's sadly lacking the expansions, but they're trying to get them added. They also have Privateer (again, without the Righteous Fire addon) for the same price. Grab some classic bargains!

As it happens, I just finished WC2:SO2, so I'll be entering the FMV era tomorrow. Luke Skywalker, Gimli, and some silly cat costumes here I come. Wish I'd started playing this series years ago, but I'm making up for lost time now.

I don't suppose anyone has the faintest idea how to play WC: Armada? The only manual available from WC CIC is in some silly interactive format that doesn't work until Win7 or DOSbox, and I haven't got a clue what I'm supposed to be doing. Is there a normal playguide anywhere?

I never played Armada, but I encourage everyone who can stand the old graphics to try out Privateer.

And I'll totally buy WC1+2 if they come with the expansions.

Oh, and look forward to fun Biff and Luke conversations in WC3!
