SMW.
Did you just say Yoshi's Island blows away SMW?!
Oh easily, and I know there are other users here who agree.
Honestly, I would like Super Mario World more than Mario 64 if it weren't for World featuring FAR less variety than Mario 3/64/Galaxy/Galaxy 2 (I swear, it's like the whole game is covered in shades of light green, light brown, and light black - although I maintain that SMW still looks graphically impressive, plus the game seems to reliant on the different colored Yoshis to make up for its lack of power-ups).
Seriously, every time I think of Mario World all I remember is "GREEN GREEN GREEN GREEN GREEN GREEN EVERYWHERE!!!". About the only reason I consider it an all-time favorite of mine is because of its greater emphasis on exploration compared to every other game in the series aside from Mario 64.
