So I've been rather fruitlessly searching around the internets for a group of people to play D&D 4th edition with, mostly because I'm kind of inept at the whole "googling" thing.
Was just wandering if any of you guys know of one or are part of one that needs or wants another player. I'm good to play any class or whatever, I just want to play.

This topic comes up a lot and there are always lots of players and no DMs. It's tragic.

And then if people try to DM eventually people stop showing up because lulz trying to coordinate peoples schedules online.
From: Pirateking2000 | #002 never did a D&D game (let alone online one) seems like a fun thing to try (though complicated)
Provided you play either 3.5 or 4e (I'm more a fan of 4e myself) D&D is like the least complicated thing ever, actually. People get scared by the 300+ page rulebook until you realize over 3/4ths of it is actually spells and equipment and stuff you don't need to know, just look up as needed. Everything else is really easy.
GenesisTwilight posted... Is there something stopping you from finding a D&D game in person?
Personally it's finding a location and a time to get together. I have a group of like 5 of us who want to play and even have a DM, but we can't find a location for Thursday nights.

There's probably a local game store within 20 minutes of you that does this sort of thing. If nothing else, look up D&D Encounters locations on the WotC website and stop by wherever it's being held.
