Screwed up big time with QB.. damn. I kept thinking they would fall to me and that no one would take a back up so early. But Roethlisberger went at 75, even though his ADP was in the 50's, and Freeman at 81. I made the mistake of taking "RB Depth" over going for the QB.. **** me. After Roethlisberger went right before my Mathews pick (which I'm not even a big fan of,) I thought it'd be too early to take Freeman there, so I waited
The Gates pick I could had a WR 2 there like Dez but I thought Gates was better value.. the #1 TE
Felix Jones is meh but in the 10th he could breakout as the feature back.. who knows..
What can I do to improve this team? Maybe Eli will back up his "I'm in the Brady tier" comments
Your QBs are kind of "meh," and your WRs could be a bit hit or miss as well (Lance Moore is pretty bad, Keeny Britt may have season issues).
If Moreno has a good season, then your RBs look ok, I wouldn't put much stock into Forte as he seems to ebb and flow as a RB, and SDs and Dallas' RB situations are too messy for me to be interested.
You have a lot of potential, but they could be potential surprises or potential letdowns.
I could have went S-Jax instead of Forte, and Harvin instead of Britt. Stevie Johnson isn't a pick I'd normally make but he is the #1 in Buffalo and he was the best available WR 2 after Lloyd got taken
When Forte is on, he is really really good... the problem is the ebb and flow that I mentioned. He only seems to be on about half the time.
If Forte has a good season, you might look like a genious (or idiot savant) for drafting him as your second RB. That's the thing about FF though... the break out stars always seems to be the surprises.
