They have DMC1-3. Which should I get?
Is Harvey Birdman pretty much like Phoenix Wright? It's $3.
How is .Hack? Should I spend $10 on it?
Is Grandia worth $10?
Are the PS2 GTA games good? They have 3, Vice City and Liberty City.
Is Bully worth $10?

Holy crap I have like 3 pounds of game discs.

Also I might get a PS3 at some point. Are those games all compatible?

3 is the best DMC, 3>1>2

grandia is pretty awful, but it's a srpg that two people can play co-operatively, so there's that!

I've heard good things about Bully

Not 2.
Grandia is pretty good.
3 and Vice City are great, but look for San Andreas.

Compatibility depends on the PS3. New PS3s can't play PS2 at all.

DMC 1 & 3, yes. Avoid 2 like the plague.
.Hack games are fairly average action RPGs. if they're your thing, maybe? Just get Xenoblade for the Wii
PS2 GTA games are fantastic. Still great today.
A lot of people like Bully, but I've never played it. It's on sale regularly on Steam for cheaper, in an enhanced edition.

They are not compatible with new PS3s. You'd have to buy a used 60 Gig PS3 Fat in order to play them

Get the DMC trilogy if you can. If they don't have it just get 1 and 3

Not as good as PW, but it's decent enough. Also has Street Fighter cameos

Don't know anything about .hack but one of my friends used to be obsessed with it and he turned out to be kind of creepy

I assume you mean Grandia 3? Not as good as the first two games, but I still enjoyed it a lot.

All those are pretty good, but San Andreas is better than all of them combined

I'd hold off on Bully and wait and see if you like GTA first because it's the same thing but in school.

BOKO! Hi.
Also should I get FFX2 for 7 dollars? I really liked FFX and I think I like the music. People are divided on it, but can anyone explain WHY it's good/bad?

didn't mean to snub you guys, I typed up my reply as you were replying. Feeling better, shados?

So hold off on Bully, probably skip .hack and Grandia, skip DMC2. Neato :D

I went through their whole inventory, no San Andreas :(

Which Jak games and Ratchet and Clank and Sly Cooper games should I buy?

And are the first-person shooters on PS2 any good? The only one I'm thinking about really is Max Payne.

the ps2 GTA games are five of the best games ever made. Go for any of them, but you should go in order of release.

and yes, Bully is worth more than ten bucks.

Which Jak games and Ratchet and Clank and Sly Cooper games should I buy?
Jak 1 is by far the best of the series, but some people think it's the worst. Try them all, they are all awesome regardless. Ratchet 2 and 3 are still the best of the series, don't let those people who say the ps3 games are better fool you. But you should start with Ratchet 1, because it's an amazing game and it sets the story and stuff.
Sly 1 is platforming goodness, but Sly 2 and 3 blow it the **** out of the water.

And are the first-person shooters on PS2 any good? The only one I'm thinking about really is Max Payne.
Max Payne and Max Payne 2 are awesome games, but they're not FPS. I'm someone who only liked FPS in the PS1/PS2 era. Medal of Honor: Frontline is easily the best FPS on the PS2. It comes bundled with Medal of Honor on the PS3 in HD.

I have made my decisions!
GH3 - $3
GTA Vice City: $5
God of War: $8
FFX2: $7
DMC3: $9
Bully: $10
Jak 2: $3
Sly Cooper: $5
Amplitude: $3
DMC1: $3
MGS2: $3
GH2: $3
Smuggler's Run: $2
Harvey Birdman: $3
Resident Evil: Code Veronica X: $5
Max Payne 2: $5
They didn't have Timesplitters 2 and I already own Up your Arsenal.
And I got a rewards card because they were $6. ~oh no~
In total I spent $91. Not bad :D

Definitely get DMC 1 and 3 and all the Jak/Sly/Ratchet games (well, maybe not deadlocked)

Which Grandia is it?

2 is a pretty good RPG although it's like the easiest one ever and the PS2 version has a few porting issues I hear, 3 is often criticized for bad writing (as in characters disappear and are never heard from again), and XTREEEEEEEEEMMMMMMEEEEEEEEEEEEE is a dungeon crawler (though I haven't played the latter two yet and played the former on the DC).

also which .hack is it?

not that it really matters since I wouldn't really recommend it since both series are basically one game split over multiple installments by repeating the same filler quests and such (like winning the arena) over and over in each installments, and there's a lot of multimedia spinoffs. The GU trilogy is much better than the original IMOQ series though.

edit: whoops you already made your purchase

Deadlocked is actually a pretty good game if you're not associating it with the previous R&C's.
Only once I decided to get all skill points and everything in the game, and it was pretty fun.
Will probably never do that again since it took like twice as long as Ratchet 2 and 3.

.hack isnt that good, i played the first two over the summer after constantly putting the series on hold. The first one is a solid 7.5/10 or so. Not bad. A big rpg fan should find enjoyment from it.

By early in the 2nd one, it felt repetitive. The dungeons arent very unique. Overall i wasnt too happy with it. About a 5/10, average. The third and fourth i need to start because if i put them off too much longer, ill never come back to the series. But from what i understand its more of the first 2.
