I've only thrown up once as a result of drinking, and I didn't even feel it coming. I didn't even remember getting to the toilet until after it was over. Like, in my drunken mind I was suddenly sitting next to the toilet, and I knew I just threw up. Then it was the next day and I had to go to work.
Somehow I'd made it back to the couch before falling asleep, though I'm pretty sure I dozed off on the bathroom floor for a bit at least. -- ~Halo Now you learn the mistake of challenging me. http://img408.imageshack.us/img408/2734/hieis.jpg ... Copied to Clipboard!

I've never tried continuing to drink after throwing up, I usually just throw up then crawl toward my bed and fall asleep. But maybe I'd black out if I sucked it up, stopped being a pansy, and kept on drinking.

I've never, ever drank after throwing up. If I happen to drink fast enough I'll skip to blacking out, though, and sometimes the throwing up catches up to me later (according to outside sources). But I know that if I throw up and remember it I didn't get close to blacking out.
Still, throwing up is way easier to achieve than blacking out. From: ChichiriMuyo | #021 From: ChichiriMuyo | #023 Literally the most inaccurate posts I have ever seen. I don't know how inexperienced you are with drinking, but very few people throw up before blacking out. Its a little thing called "handling your liquor". If any of my buddies threw up every time they got close to blacking out they would be the laughing stock of our group. However, there can be serious advantages to forcing the puke early in a night of drinking. For case races and other drinking events, sometimes the best course of action is to puke immediately after the game. That way you take a 10-15 minute break and are still able to party all night and drink more. -- Commodore http://i941.photobucket.com/albums/ad258/CommodoreTN/commodorejpgme.jpg ... Uh what. XD trying to tell me I've never drank "that much" and then saying this. Blacking out comes some time before throwing up unless you started on a totally empty stomach or are pathetic. ITT: All people react the same way to alcohol
no one is a 'pansy' because they throw up before they black out or vice versa and anyone who says it clearly has no clue what they are talking about. People react differently to different things and you have to take in account WHAT you're drinking too but I guess this is just a topic with case of 'I AM THE BEST DRINKER I AM SO COOL HAH' -- http://www.myspace.com/moresomebelgium My totally rad band, yo. ... I'm not calling anyone a pansy, I'm just saying that unless you're starting on an empty stomach you shouldn't be throwing up before blacking out. Throwing alcohol up is your body's reaction to having too much of it in your system. You shouldn't reach that point until you're blacked out.
Also there's no way I'm the best drinker. I blacked out and threw up last Saturday. Sorry stuff. -- "It is important that supporters and everyone at the club remembers that the cannon on the chest is more important than anybody." ... Copied to Clipboard!

Throwing up before blacking out what
Only time I've thrown up was AFTER I had blacked out for a good 20 minutes or so, and that was a night I seriously had drank just way too damn much. But I've blacked out for 15-20 minute increments at a time plenty of times. I haven't done the whole "black out for the rest of the night and end up at home in bed" thing though. -- Procrastinater - So Good ~*Board 8 Late Night Crew*~ ... Copied to Clipboard!
