Snarkiness aside, it doesn't work for EU serial numbers, and Nintendo Europe hasn't got their tool up yet.

The battery life is fine, I won't use the 3D much. If it turns out to be bad I'll get that third-party battery (although I feel like replacing my DS or PSP battery might be a better deal). Speaking of which, do you know it's 80 bucks to get a DS Lite repaired by Nintendo? So if I want a fully working one, I probably need to buy a brand new one.
