Technically it didn't bomb, though, to be fair.

It'll officially have made a profit as of today when today's numbers come in.

It just underperformed expectations, yeah, but it was incredibly cheap to make.

Yeah, its impossible for this movie to bomb considering it was dirt cheap to make. It's a concert movie and I'm sure the money they made from the concert tickets alone was enough for it to be profitable. Add in the box office and DVD sales and it'll probably make a decent profit.
