I've been checking around and I can't find anything to top Samsung, it's worth around the same as Microsoft, Sony and Apple combined. I mostly just checked in technology companies though, maybe there are much much richer ones out there that deals in simpler stuff.

That's revenues though, I'm checking total assets. I guess I should've said '' which company is worth the most ''.

Rich in terms of what? Revenue? Profit? Market cap? Assets? ExxonMobil may be the "biggest" company in the world right now. In terms of the richest company ever, accounting for inflation and stuff... maybe Standard Oil? East India Trading Company?

What you want is market cap, not total assets.

Exxon mobile is the wealthiest company right now, IIRC. Apple is pretty close though, I think they even passed Exxon for a day or two.

I'd guess Standard Oil. I'm pretty sure Rockefeller is the wealthiest man in history when adjusting for inflation.
U.S. Steel is another possibility.
