Mew and Slowking went head-to-head with each other and tried desperately to claim the champion spot, but it was Slowking who snatched the throne in the end by a narrow margin, beating Mew at 30-29. Both are winners, though!

As there is continuous discussion of whether or not RedRose and Lamiroir are alts and there is strong evidence to indicate they are, they will not be allowed to vote unless they can convince me they aren't alts. Thinking back to the Psychic contest, it is clear there was alt voting going on and I'm tempted to redo it again.

I stand corrected regarding Castform not having "official" formes and not changing its typing based on the weather; however, Snowy Castform was not included in the Ice contest, so I didn't include Sunny Castform in this contest. Unless there's overwhelming support to have it included, we'll go with tradition.

The object of this contest is to save your favorite (or just your non-least favorite) Pokemon.

Rules:
- You may vote for 2 Pokemon every 1 hour.
- You cannot vote for the same Pokemon more than once in each round.
- Pokemon need 3 saves to advance.
- No save trading is allowed.
- The last 3 remaining Pokemon will be eliminated from the contest; however, voting will continue until each Pokemon has had its placement determined.
- To help prevent alt voting, accounts must be level 25 or higher to vote.
- Please do not edit your saves. If you need to change your vote for whatever reason, make a new post. It's too easy to miss a save that was changed via an edit.
- Banned: RedRose, Lamiroir

This is the eighth contest, the first seven being Bug, Electric, Dragon, Ice, Steel, Normal and Psychic. This time we have Fire. If this one finishes successfully, then I'll move on to whatever type has the most votes. Each Pokemon is eligible for both of its types, not just its primary type. In the case of Pokemon with multiple formes, each forme will be included, as long as they have different stats or types. The exception to this is Arceus, who will not be included in any contest other than the Normal one (as being in all 17 would be ridiculous).

You are able to vote for the type you would like to see done after the Fire contest is over. You can vote for any type not already done, and you can vote only once. You can also change your nomination later on, if you want.
