Writing should be the only major factor when answering these questions. Too often I've seen people proclaim themselves ambidextrous just because they can fly a damn kite with their left hand or such nonsense.

Sometimes I control the steering wheel of the car with just my left hand, too.

I can use my left hand for a lot, the main thing I do with my left over my right is driving. I first drove with my right, then I tried driving with my left, got used to it, and now it's weird to drive with my right hand. This is of course when I'm only using one hand, which is most of the time, but even when both hands are on the wheel, my left hand is doing more somehow.

i can write with both hands, i just choose to use my right hand because it's easier to write left to right that way

Ambidextrous. Can write and throw just about equally well with both hands. Right is a little stronger, since they pushed me to use it in grade school.

I'll write with one hand just long enough that people that know me will start to automatically hand a pen to that side, and then I'll switch just to mess with them.

It is glorious.
