They need to restructure their dev teams. Not rebrand an already known brand name.

Enix owns a half the company right? That would be a big negative from me. The only games I'm even interested in from that company now are Enix games. Square is a terrible company now and shouldn't get to do any decision making.

this is misleading of them because squaresoft was a good developer before they merged, sakaguchi got the boot, uematsu and mitsuda left, and matsuno went crazy trying to appease his enix marketing overlords. you use "square" to talk about the days BEFORE they turned into the bubonic plague scar that square-enix most closely resembles today, so dishonest of them.

Enix is the only reason Square is still afloat today lol.

I'm glad to see all their planning and time is going into important things like this
