People are definitely torn. I usually put parts of a game that are incredibly story-intensive over parts that are not but in FFVI's case I actually prefer the second half of the game for sure.

But chances are you will not -- just going by the general opinion of things.

And I happen to love the second overworld theme.

It's not worth the effort to keep him alive because quite frankly, the scene you get when he dies is a lot better than if he survives.

I'm too frustrated to be affected by this melodrama. I'm pretty close to dropping this game; things have fallen apart in the last few areas.

Don't drop the game. The Floating Continent is the worst part of the game. Well, okay, maybe the second worst, but the other part of the game that's the worst is optional.

The bad thing is that everyone who's played that part knows what you're talking about without you even having to say what it is.

And yeah, at least give the game a fair shot when you're not so frustrated.
